Family Trek at Mono Cliffs

First weekend after the lock down, our plan was to go to Algonquin Provincial Park, but it was raining profusely there so we went with plan b – the Mono Cliffs Provincial Park

Eid-ul-Fitr in Toronto

Hard to celebrate Eid while we isolate ourselves and practice social distancing. Lucky to have the boys over for a nice family celebration. Mama made some delicious food and treats. JZ had a lot of fun with his lego gifts, but unfortunately Augi’s didn’t get all of his presents due […]

Nomi’s Birthday Weekend

A tiny get together for a birthday while we are stuck indoors. Nice homemade sushi, salmon teriyaki, and of course chocolate cake. Lucky to have parents with us this time around.

Daddy’s Birthday

Home celebration of Daddy’s birthday. Mama made a lovely little orange cake that was a huge hit. We couldn’t do much as everyone is stuck indoors but we all enjoyed ourselves. Happy birthday dad, may you have many happy returns of the day.

The Journey

Welcome to the Teens

By Noman Nadeem / December 5, 2019

Happy Birthday young man! Welcome to the teens Aurangzeb. 13 years passed by in a flash. I feel it was just recently that I brought you back from the hospital; just a few days since you won your first squash tournament; just yesterday when I was able to pick you […]

The Love of a Child

By Noman Nadeem / June 17, 2018

Got this gem from the little one for father’s day. It was all wrapped up in a funky plastic setting with ribbons, obviously the teacher had helped. There were “instructions” and he was excited – it was contagious and I was curious. Pre-heat the oven – set the plate to […]

Chocolate at the Christmas Market

By Noman Nadeem / December 2, 2017

Captured this low-light close-up of Aurangzeb on a whim. He is not a very expressive child – never was, yet this shot somehow makes me see sheer happiness. The joy of eating a pure chocolate wrench quite evident. One of my favorite pictures of him. It was a fun night […]
